| 'O believers! When you wish to stand for prayer, then wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows andpass your wet hands over your heads and wash your feet up to the ankles. And if you ever in need of a baththen purify yourselves well. And if you are ill or you are on a journey, or any of you comes from the privy oryou have an intercourse with women and in these conditions you do not get water, then be take yourselves toclean earth and wipe therewith your faces and your hands. Allah desires not that He should place you in anydifficulty, yes, He desires to purify you well and to complete His favour upon you so that you may be grateful |
